Carpeted Van Panels

Use heavy duty trim or automotive headliner adhesive for your vans wall panels.

Carpeted van panels.

We used the kiravans easyliner 4 way stretch. If you don t want to do this on your own contact us and we can cut the wall panels for your van. Spray the surface of the panel with a generous covering of glue. Here s what our panels looked like as we began to attach them.

The full back panels. We find that it helps to use cardboard or paper to make templates of your van wall panel areas and trim accordingly. Jul 22 2018 we decided that rather than paneling the van walls with wood we would carpet it to get a better finish and make it seem warmer. With all our panels on the van looked amazing. It was still a bit strange looking because of the plastic gray panels on top but once the cabinets were in it felt like a cozy warm. Your van will be fully lined in one or two hours at the most.

Wall panels are cut from your 4x8 1 4 birch. It looks a lot cleaner has a nicer finish and also helps to further insulate the van and reduce condensation build up while cooking and sleeping. Measure and cut the liner leave 2 inches of excess liner around the edges. Finish the nooks and crannies.

Protecting the inside of your van with a plywood lining protects the outside panels from dings and dents caused by loose loads which will inevitably lead to rust marks. All our floor panels and interior liners come cut to size and predrilled ready for installation it only takes a few self tapping screws and rivets and a couple of hours and the job is done. Remove all the plastic fittings and screws. The addition of wall panels have started to tie the van conversion together there are still a lot of trim panels that will need to be built and installed to give it that clean finished look.
