Capping a jetted tub.

I used the turn on the whirlpool every 2 weeks to clean out when my daughter lived at home and used the tub with bathtub salts oils bubbles etc but since she left home i did not start it and the motor seized. I have had this tub for a good 10years now but only used the jets twice too noisy. Closing the induction valves forces water to circulate only through the internal plumbing of the tub. Turn it off when the jets are covered by 2 3 in 5 1 7 6 cm of water. With the valves closed or not. Twisting a whirlpool jet nozzle or ring vigorously in the wrong direction may cause it to release from the side of the tub. Add 2 tablespoons tsp and 4 oz bleach.

Drain tub fill again as before and run 10 more minutes. Run jets 10 minutes. Clean your jetted tub every 1 3 months if you use your tub daily or several times a week. Close the jets on a whirlpool to focus the flow on one area.
