For extra depth try lightly sponge painting them with wall paint. I only painted the side that faces out as the reverse is unfinished anyway. And then spray until the brown is gone. If your vertical blind panels are still in good shape you can cover them with wallpaper that matches your new interior decor.

I purchased a product from krylon called fusion spray paint which is intended for plastic it is recommended for resin patio furniture. While you could paint them with a brush spray paint ensures a more uniform look free from brush strokes. But painting blinds is the most cost effective way to bring them back to life.
