Can You Run Two Ceiling Fans Off One Switch

I have two ceiling fans with two aftermarket light kits installed all controlled from one single pole switch.

Can you run two ceiling fans off one switch.

For a big room. Plus there is no difference in speed of the fans on low and medium speed. I found no other connections going from ceiling fan 2 to anywhere. Can this be done correctly.
